Cambodia 2019

Six volunteers flew to Cambodia to support the Salt Academy Foundation

In May 2019, our association embarked on its first international humanitarian project in Battambang, Cambodia.

After collecting around 600 kg of soccer equipment and raising funds for the shipment, six volunteer "Luckies" flew to Cambodia to take part in the adventure.

During this project, our association came to the aid of a foundation named Salt Academy, which uses soccer to teach children fundamental values such as leadership skills and the dangers of drugs.

Salt Academy is also recognized as a major player in the promotion of women's soccer.

It was a very human and eye-opening experience to play soccer with young Cambodians and share some powerful moments.

We are proud to have supported this important Cambodian foundation and grateful for the opportunity to have made a small difference to the lives of young Cambodians in Battambang.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the various fund-raising events, as well as the various soccer clubs who took part in our soccer equipment drive, without whom none of this would have been possible:

  • FC Sierre

  • FC Sion

  • FC Chalais

  • FC Grimisuat

  • FC Servette

Our association will continue to seek similar opportunities to make a positive impact in the world.
